Groove Kuttz Barber Academy is a Groove Kuttz Barbershop partnership.  It was established to provide barber training and education for local rangatahi.  The programme - which takes place in a dedicated building on the marae - aligns strongly with the Tamaki 10,000 collaborative movement aimed at reviving livelihoods and upskilling Maori and Pacific rangatahi and whanau.

COSTS & BUDGET

The cost per student is $750 + GST per week of the 12 week course (6 students per intake).

This covers:

- Training

- Wellbeing support

- Wider educational support

- All equipment, eg. clippers / combs and other consumables

​

The course can be tailored to meet our funding organizations requirements.
